Zweelo is a mobility company that, in addition to the classic shuttle service, offers a personalized and environmentally friendly on-demand ridesharing service. After receiving a request, Zweelo organizes on-demand rides according to the target groups, e.g. school and club rides, business trips, city trips and other rides. The departure time, start and destination are individual, depending on the passengers’ wishes.
In a ridesharing service, carpools are formed between passengers who have a similar destination. The journey and the fare are thus efficiently shared between the passengers.
Zweelo offers a digital, customized, flexible and emossion-free mobility solution according to our customers’ needs. Our customers can request a ride through our app, track the entire ride via real-time GPS and receive ride status notifications. Our specially trained staff guarantees our customers a hygienic, safe and comfortable door-to-door ride. Book a ride for your kids and let them enjoy their first ride with Zweelo!
Currently we are only available in the immediate vicinity of Düsseldorf. Expansion to other cities is in planning! All of our drivers and team members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear a face mask throughout the trip. In addition, the drivers thoroughly disinfect the vehicles between trips and provide our guests with a mouth guard and hand sanitizer as needed.

Are you new to Zweelo?

In the meantime, you can also download the Zweelo app from the App Store or Play Store to create a new profile and request a new travel plan. Please note that all new travel plans must first have a transportation agreement in place. Your profile will be approved upon written consent from your parent or guardian.
To sign in to the Zweelo app, we need your name and email address. Once you have entered your data, you will receive a confirmation email.
After successful confirmation of your email address, access to the app is unlocked and you can start creating profiles and planning rides.
After successful registration and login, you can customize your profile. Various actions are available to you, such as: Create your child’s profile, create multiple passengers, schedule trips, add locations for future pick-ups and drop-offs, provide passenger details, and view records of your past, current, and upcoming trips.
Once you have successfully registered, you will be prompted to create your profile in the app. Here you can insert and schedule your desired pick-up addresses e.g. home, school, club premises or other addresses.
To comply with all safety and legal requirements, we provide child seats to our passengers. For this we need information about the age, weight and size of your child/children.
The creation of a user profile is basically voluntary.
In order to use the full scope of our app, we would like to ask you to create a profile in the mobile application. Creating a profile gives you access to your own user area and thus to the timetable creation, GPS tracking and payment processing.
To create a new itinerary, simply select the pickup location and destination, the type of trip (outbound, return or both) and the frequency of trips per week. Once you have entered the desired schedule details, a request will be sent to our Zweelo team. We will get back to you with a commitment or cancellation for your request – based on our current capacity and availability of vehicles.
After receiving a request, we check the availability of our vehicles. After 48 hours at the latest, you will receive feedback as to whether your ride request can be accepted or not. You will receive all this information directly and conveniently via our app. Once the itinerary has been confirmed, you will receive all details about the individual trips, the daily schedule and all other relevant information via our app.
Yes! We advise users to provide all the necessary information when registering passengers. In this way, when booking a trip, you can easily specify which passenger will be transported.
Yes! You can plan individual trips for each created passenger, with different destinations, frequencies and times. Simply enter the desired dates for the relevant days of the week.
Simply click “Forgot password” on the login page. Then enter the email address you used when you created your Zweelo account and click “Continue”. We will then send you an email with a link where you can set a new password.
Each ride is accompanied by a professional and licensed driver. In addition, our parents have the option to follow the entire ride via our Zweelo app. After you have booked a ride, you will find the respective details about our staff and the vehicle’s license plate number in the app. All rides are continuously monitored by our operations team.
If there is a need to change your booked trip, you can send us the change requests by e-mail to contact@zweelo.de. We will then look into all possibilities to change the schedule according to your wishes and get back to you as soon as possible.
It is important to know that we can only consider trip and schedule changes that are communicated to us 48 hours in advance.

Our goal is to make the ride as pleasant and time-saving as possible for your children. We optimize the Zweelo schedule each day according to the individual location and time of all children on board. It is possible for our Zweelo staff to manage different carpool constellations throughout the week. Our app included payment tool allows you a simple and automated payment process. You can pay with a credit/debit card, by direct debit (SEPA core direct debit) or by bank transfer.
Unfortunately, cash payments are not possible.
Each subscription period begins on the 16th of each month and ends on the 15th of the following month. Payment is due by the 14th of the month. We will email you the invoice 7 days in advance. You can also access more details about your subscription and billing periods in our app.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our drivers are well prepared to act quickly and calmly in stressful situations. You can track your child’s rides in real time via our app and will be notified immediately if anything deviates from the route. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong during the ride (for example, your child becomes ill or punctuality cannot be guaranteed), we will contact you immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will contact the emergency person you specified when you made your booking. The safety of our guests, drivers and employees is our top priority. If one of our team members tests positive, we will notify all passengers and team members who have been in direct contact with the affected person during the previous week.
