Zweelo is a mobility company that offers a personalized, environmentally friendly on-demand ridesharing service. After receiving a request, Zweelo organizes shared rides for different target groups, e.g. school/sports club rides for children, business rides for companies, city trips and other on-demand rides. The departure time, the start and the destination are individual, depending on the passengers’ wishes.
In a ridesharing service, carpools are formed between passengers who have a similar destination. The journey and the fare are thus efficiently shared between the passengers.
Zweelo offers a digital, customized, flexible and zero-emission mobility solution according to our customers’ needs. Our service is fully digital, our customers can request a ride via our app, can track the entire ride via real-time GPS and receive ride status notifications. Our specially trained staff ensures our customers a hygienic, safe and comfortable ride from door to door. Book a ride for your kids and let them enjoy their first ride with Zweelo!
For the moment we are just available in the city of Düsseldorf, Germany but we are going to expand to other cities very soon! If we are not yet available in your city/region, you are welcome to send an email with your postcode to contact@zweelo.de and indicate your desired location for the next Zweelo site. As soon as we are available in your city/region, we will contact you again!
Simply click on “Forgot your password” on the login page. Then enter the email you used to create your Zweelo account and click “Continue”. We will then send you an email with a link that you can use to set a new password.
In general, you can cancel booked individual trips free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time. An exception exists in case of illness.
You are a contract customer and use our service for regular transport to school or club training? In that case, the framework contract can be cancelled at any time with a notice period of 30 days to the end of a calendar month.
Our aim is to always satisfy every one of our customers. If you or your child are unhappy about something, you can always contact our Zweelo team. In addition, our customer satisfaction survey gives you the opportunity to provide us with comprehensive feedback and thus help us to continuously improve our service. We welcome all feedback!
All of our drivers and team members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will wear a face mask during the entire ride. Additionally, drivers thoroughly disinfect vehicles in between rides and will provide our guests a face mask and hand sanitizer if needed.
Are you new to Zweelo?
Then contact us by email at contact@zweelo.de or by phone at +49(0)211-31134711. In the meantime, you can also download the Zweelo app from the App Store or Play Store to create a new profile and request a new travel plan. Please note that all new travel plans must first have a transportation agreement in place. Your profile will be approved upon written consent from your parent or guardian.
To sign in to the Zweelo app, we need your name and email address. Once you have entered your data, you will receive a confirmation email.
After successful confirmation of your email address, access to the app is unlocked and you can start creating profiles and planning rides.
After successful registration and login, you can customize your profile. Various actions are available to you, such as: Create your child’s profile, create multiple passengers, schedule trips, add locations for future pick-ups and drop-offs, provide passenger details, and view records of your past, current, and upcoming trips.
Once you have successfully registered, you will be prompted to create your profile in the app. Here you can insert and schedule your desired pick-up addresses e.g. home, school, club premises or other addresses. To comply with all safety and legal requirements, we provide child seats to our passengers. For this we need information about the age, weight and size of your child/children.
The creation of a user profile is basically voluntary.
In order to use the full scope of our app, we would like to ask you to create a profile in the mobile application. Creating a profile gives you access to your own user area and thus to the timetable creation, GPS tracking and payment processing.
To schedule a new travel plan, simply select the pick-up location and destination, the type of trip (outward, return or both) and the frequency of rides per week. Once you have entered the desired travel plan details, a request will be sent to our Zweelo team. We will get back to you with an acceptance or rejection for your request – based on our current capacity and availability. Provided that we confirm your request, we will also include the price for the subscription within our confirmation. If you agree, you can confirm booking the Zweelo service and pay the monthly/ yearly fee.
After receiving request, we check whether we can offer a spot in the shuttle based on our capacities. After 48 hours at the latest, you will receive feedback as to whether the plan can be accepted or not. You will receive all this information directly and easily via App. Once the travel plan has been confirmed, you will receive all the details about the individual rides, daily schedule, and all other relevant information through our App.
Yes! We advise users to create all passengers that they anticipate having, with all necessary details specified, at the time of signing up. This way, when you request to book a ride, you can simply specify which passenger you need to be transported.
Each ride is accompanied by a professional, licensed driver. In addition, parents have the option to follow the entire ride via our Zweelo app. After booking a ride, you will find the details of our staff and the vehicle’s license plate number in the app. All rides are continuously monitored by our operations team.
If a need for changes for your booked ride arises, you can send us the desired changes by email to contact@zweelo.de. We will then check all possibilities to change the timetable according to your wishes and will come back to you as soon as possible.
It is important to know, that we can only consider ride and schedule changes that are communicated 48 hours in advance.

Simply log in to your profile and then go to “View current trip”.
In order to ensure a proper process, we would like to ask you to have a parent present at the home address upon arrival, especially during the trip home.

To ensure good and transparent communication with our customers, we have integrated a push notification system within our app. Before the driver arrives at the pickup location, you will receive a push notification allowing your child to be prepared for the pick-up. After your child has been picked up by our driver, another push-notification will be sent to you to confirm the pick-up. During the whole trip it is possible to track the car through our app. At the end of the trip, you will receive a drop-off confirmation.

Zweelo takes the selection process very seriously and has therefore strict selection criteria for Zweelo staff. The selection process starts with a legal and administrative check, where documents such as a passenger transport license, health certificate and police clearance certificate are checked. This is followed by a personal interview and a reference check by several members of our Zweelo team and monitored test rides.
The driver will be assigned to the trips by our team according to their availability.
Our goal is to make your children’s carpooling experience as pleasant and time efficient as possible. We optimize the Zweelo schedule every day according to the individual location and time of all kids on board. It is possible that our Zweelo staff will manage different carpool constellations throughout the week. However, as you can find out under “How are Zweelo’s professional drivers selected?”, we place equal importance on having professional and trained staff for your children on all trips.

The price is calculated based on the distance between the pick-up and drop-off locations, any waiting time incurred, and the frequency of trips.
You can pay once, monthly or annually depending on the booking option. Payment can be processed with a credit/debit card, by bank transfer or by direct debit (SEPA core direct debit).
Jeder Abonnementzeitraum beginnt am 16. eines jeden Monats und endet am 15. des Folgemonats. Die Zahlung ist bis zum 14. des Monats fällig. Wir senden Ihnen die Rechnung 7 Tage im Voraus per E-Mail zu. Weitere Details zu Ihrem Abonnement und den Abrechnungszeiträumen können Sie auch in unserer App abrufen.
Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our drivers are well prepared to act quickly and calmly in stressful situations. You can track your child’s rides in real time via our App and you will be notified immediately in case of any deviations from the route. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong during the ride (e.g., your child gets sick or punctuality cannot be guaranteed), you will be contacted by us immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will contact the emergency person that you indicated within your booking. Further, our central office is at your disposal for any queries via contact@zweelo.de.
Please contact us if your driver arrives later than 10 minutes after the agreed time without warning. Our team will investigate the reasons for this delay as quickly as possible and ensure that this does not happen again.
In the interest of all concerned, every member of the Zweelo community should commit to keeping to the agreed timetable wherever possible. If this is not possible, please inform us immediately so that we can find a quick solution.

The Zweelo app and control centre uses a token-based network access. This ensures that only trusted parties (parents and the Zweelo team) can access all location data. Additionally, this data is transferred using secure data transfer/SSL protocols to always ensure maximum security.
All of our drivers and team members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and will wear a face mask during the entire ride. Additionally, drivers thoroughly disinfect vehicles in between rides and will provide our guests a face mask and hand sanitizer if needed.
Safety of our guests, drivers and employees is our top priority. If one of our team-members is tested positive, we will notify all passengers and team members who were in direct contact with the affected person for the previous week. Any driver who tests positive for COVID-19 will not perform any Zweelo-rides until receiving a doctor’s permission.
